Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. Bernhard Reitinger

Berndi Klein Born in the late seventies, I grew up in a very small village called Sigharting where I visited the kindergarten and two years of grammar school. With the age of six, I moved to Kopfing where I finished grammar school. Despite to unknown reasons I decided to visit high school in a bigger city called Schärding. As time goes by I succeeded in finishing school after eight years which motivated me to study computer science at Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz. However, after one year I got bored and decided to attend the social service which is obligatory in Austria. I was assigned to the Lebenshilfe in Münzkirchen to take care of handicapped people. This was a real enrichment for my life and I would not like to miss these 11 months. Finally, I finished my degree in computer science in 2000. During studies, I met the girl of my life - Lisa - whom I married 2003. In 2000, I got a research assistant at the Institute of Graphics and Parallel Processing where I worked in the field of parallel processing, visualization, and Virtual Reality. Before I attended the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision in Graz I worked as a software developer at Hyperwave for one year. Between August 2002 and November 2005 I was persuing a PhD program financed by the FWF Austria under the grants P14897 and P17066. I received my PhD degree in November 2005 from Graz University of Technology in Austria. Well, this seems to be all what you need to know ;-).
